Guests never see the paperwork. They see the picture, hear the first note and notice if a speech starts late. Event production is the work that makes those three things reliable. Knight Kings is an event production company in Delhi for corporate nights, exhibitions, weddings and live performances.
We design the stage, specify sound and light, build LED content into the run of show, and put a show caller on the floor who actually runs the cues. Production sits with our event producers, so the agenda and the technical plot are the same document.
Stage, sound, light and picture
A production plan starts from the room and the show, not from a hired equipment list. We measure the venue, the power, the rigging points and the sightlines. Then we draw a stage that fits the speeches, the film, the panel and the performance, in that order.
Sound covers speech first and music second. A boardroom voice and a live band do not share one casual microphone plan. Lighting separates the speaker, the set and the audience so cameras and guests both see a face, not a silhouette. LED walls and playback are built to the cue sheet, with a backup file in the rack. Truss, drapes, power and cable paths are planned so the room still looks finished from the back row.
Shows we produce
Annual general meetings, dealer meets, award nights, product launches, exhibitions that need a stage as well as a stall, wedding sangeet and reception shows, and artist-led evenings. When an artist is on the bill, the rider is checked against this plot before travel is booked. When the show is an exhibition or a conference, the same crew treats the stage and the display as one picture.
We also produce the unglamorous half: load-in times that respect the venue, a marked stage plot, a comms plan for the crew, and a strike that returns the room on time.
One caller, one cue list
On the day, one show caller runs openings, films, walks, music and blackouts. Speakers are briefed, presenters are mic’d before they are announced, and the next cue is already standing by. That is the difference between a programme that looks rehearsed and a programme that hopes.
Questions production managers ask
Can you produce a show inside a hotel that limits rigging?
Yes. We design to the venue’s rigging and power rules, and we say so in the drawing before you approve the look.
Do you bring sound and light only, or the full show?
Either. Some clients have their own set and need audio, light and a caller. Others want stage, scenic, content and crew as one package.
Will you work outside Delhi?
Yes. We produce in Delhi NCR as a base and travel with the show when the event moves to another city.
